I have always liked playing the sniper in shooters, even if I am not particularly good at it. If a single player game has a sniper rifle in it, then it is usually my weapon of choice. With that in mind I leapt into Sniper Elite V2 with some enthusiasm.
Prototype 2 – Review
I liked the original Prototype. Generic, mindless destruction. A heavily populated city scape, leaping between and running up tall buildings and stealing tanks. What is not to like? It was then with great anticipation that I stuck my teeth into Prototype 2.
Fez – Review
When I first heard about Fez, I had no interest in it. When the game was released, I played the demo and my every thought on the game was confirmed. A 2D platformer with a twist (literally) in the mechanics. Nothing about this game drew my attention and so it was dismissed. But then I listened to them talk about the game on the Giant Bombcast. My interest hooked, I plunged head long into what would become a 20hrs (and counting) marathon.

Gamer Stockholm Syndrome – Why good game companies need to die
After playing three back to back playthroughs of Mass Effect 3, I felt I needed a break from Mass Effect before jumping back into Mass Effect 1 for what will no doubt evolve into playing the trilogy back to back in various ways. So I picked Dark Souls back up and pushed through to the completion of my first New Game+ (and am currently working on my New Game++). Doing this however made me think about the things in each game(s) that I hate with a passion and yet I keep coming back to them. It is almost like I have Stockholm Syndrome and the game companies are my captors.

Mass Effect 3 – Review
Mass Effect 3 is in every regard a hybrid game. While the initial Mass Effect set out to be an RPG / shooter hybrid, Mass effect 3 feels like they have completed that goal but perhaps in a way they did not expect. In more than just the gameplay though Mass Effect 3 is a game that struggles with itself in more ways than one. More importantly though, it is the conclusion of a trilogy that focuses on story and many fans are on the edge of their seats awaiting the end of the story they have grown to love. So can BioWare pull it off?

News – 7th March 2012
Getting this out early on account of the Mass Effect 3 launch tomorrow, I have some other things to do during this time but it will occupy the bulk of my time. Heck, I even finished an assignment today that is not due for another 2 weeks as a just in case. Wait, what was I talking about? Oh, yea, news.
